I’m not going to lie, Bahrain was a ‘check the box’ country for me. So I ended up just staying at the Four Seasons and eating and drinking at the beach and their multiple pools for two days. I also spent some time on their patio enjoying the 80 degree weather, sweating, and working on New Year’s Resolutions. (If this feels like a theme, it is, it’s how I spent the month of December every year – focusing on the next year’s goals)
You can’t go wrong with the four seasons, and the views were amazing whether at the beach looking at the modern skyline or the pool looking at the oasis they created.
One thing that surprised me as how expensive everything was. Put it this way, the numbers matched the amount I would expect… but for the exchange rate you had to double it! Yikes!
One thing I didn’t get to go see was the Tree of Life. Something that would be interesting to go see one day.
