I almost don’t even want to write this post. But..
Zero stars, do not recommend.
It did give nostalgia back to 2000 when I walked through Epcot and they shuttled you through a look into the future.
Dubai usually does a much better job at these things, but here they fell short. The museum starts with long queues and crowds of people waiting to ‘start the adventure into space’ – it’ following this fake story about the earth ending and traveling to a future version where live and technology on other planets is possible. But it’s all fake, until half way though the tour you start to see some real investment in technology. But it’s not clear when you go from the children’s Sci-Fi story to real life.
Even the tech used to show you the future seemed a bit dated. (Videos below)
One thing that was cool was what I heard a tourist refer to as “Digital Noah’s Ark” – the room looked super cool, changed colors and was aesthetically very pleasing.
There’s also a robot run coffee bar on the main floor as well.
Overall, not worth the hype it gets. The coolest part about the museum is the architecture.
