I have definitely tried more things for me that HAVEN’T worked for me than the things that have. Consolidated below is what you’ll see in my bag EVERY SINGLE TIME I travel! (Updated as of December 2025)

Camera Equipment

TRIPOD: To each their own when it comes to tripods, but I like this one, it’s taller than most to give better angles. I use this for all the black dress photos where everyone asks “who took your photos” 🙂

Insta360: This is amazing for solo travel (or group gravel) where you want cool shots with you in it without the selfie stick. Also takes the most incredible and easy to take underwater photos/videos.

Insta360 Tripod: If you do get the Insta360 – get their tripod. Don’t make the same mistake as me where you don’t have the ‘invisible’ ness to it because you used your own.

Insta360 Underwater: I don’t care what the company says, I don’t trust snorkeling or diving without this case on it.

Insta360 Lens Cover: This is the best one, and cheap. It’s durable and easy to take on and off.

Insta360 Underwater Lens Cover: Same as above but for your Dive Case. One tiny scratch and you’ll have that scratch in every photo for the rest of time. Easy way to protect your cases and lenses.

Not-A-Drone: LOVE this thing. It’s not as powerful as a real ‘drone’ (Technically this is a flying camera because of size and weight), so on windy days this will fail you. But I freaking LOVE this thing. Easy to use with presets or self flying. Great for videos and pictures.
