Kansas City

In my continued goal of seeing all 50 states, I decided to knock out two at once: Kansas and Missouri. Oddly enough, it took more time and effort to actually step food on Kansas in this trip!

Kansas City was actualy way cuter than I was expecting. The BBQ was absolutely amazing. There were distilleries all over the city and had really spectacular cocktails to stop in for a few drinks. I ended up bringing home a few bottles of gin from meal mule distilling.

Ended up hopping a few FENCES and running through a field to get to the river to be able to technically say I also went to Kansas.

Surprisingly, in jean shorts, cute tops and flip flops in Sept I felt incredibly under dressed. Fancy rompers, heels, dresses were pretty common for most of the women I saw in the street and bars walking around. Good to note for next time 🙂

Home of the largest shuttlecock, eating and drinking where the main things to do in this town. There was incredible street art everywhere too. I really enjoyed the time and would easily be convinced to go back!
