Second road trip for the Mavy-Mav! This time north, to the Poconos. This dog just sleeps the whole time we drive, it’s awesome. Doesn’t really seem to understand that the walk partway through in the grass is for bathroom time. He just holds it the whole time. That isn’t going to work when we go on longer trips!

First, Mav was the greater to the trips going out for the day at Pocono Whitewater Rafting in Jim Thorpe! One of the owners who was overseeing the trips for the day took Mav in her arms and they welcomed the trips! Again.. lots of ‘oooo, awwwww, look at that puppy! Can we pet him?!’

We met a bunch of other dogs on this trip and Mav did great. People, pets, loud noises, chickens…. he did great with all of it! I might just be lucking out with this little bugger! If only I can figure out potty training. But I guess he’s only 12 weeks old so he’s doing ok.

I decided against the metal crate, despite all the research. I wanted something easy for travel and storage so I got this collapsible dog crate. It has done really well so far and has become a safe place for him when we travel. He’s doing great with crate training too with it. Another great amazon find!

He wasn’t really sure what to do with the grass and yard (we don’t have that in the city). Plus he’s so small the grass for him would be like me running through high grass to my shoulders HA
